Booking in again today..

Ahhhhhhhhh!

Everything nice will come to an end. Throughly enjoyed myself these 2 days with my gf who has been giving me support and all. Actually life in national service is not tough, it all lies in the mindset. I went to serve the army for the next 2 years with the mentality of transforming my body, and training up. So, with this point, i managed to handle things differently from other people.

So, if you ever encounter anyone who's currently in national service, who keeps whining here and there, which i believe, there are more than 80% who's doing that, just tell them they have no choice, its just time to train up their body and be a MAN!

Yesterday was a very nice day, spent the whole day with my
girlfriend. While she just received her bonus few days ago, she managed to spent more than 3/4 of her bonus on shopping. $400!!! Well, you can actually check out all her buys on her blog. I personally think that, although we really spent a lot, all those are actually good buys. We're both seasoned shoppers, and when i mean seasoned, its not like we buy anything that's cheap. When it comes to shopping, there are different steps we must take.

1. Understanding the situation - What kind of sale it is
2. Exploring various alternatives - Whether you can find a better substitute for that item in terms of price and design
3. Determine feasibility - Are you sure you are going to wear or need this in future? Buy something that is useful
4. Making the decision - After trying, and if it looks perfect on you, just buy it, because the chances of you encountering it in future are as close as 1 in a million

Well, sounds like a typical strategy that we learnt during my poly time, but this is what i can remember now. If i have the time, i can actually come up with a diagram for that too. And it just so happen that these steps actually ran through my mind with a snap of my fingers. *SNAP* Yep, just like that. Got it?

I have around 7 to 8 more hours before i book in again, and this feeling of waiting dreads me. I don't really like to wait.. I need to balance between having this type of freedom, enjoying myself with girlfriend and family, and civilization, or being around with sweaty naked guys swinging their ding dongs around, working out on dirty floors and grass fields, be it wet or dry, under the scorching sun which gives you a nice tan, or sunburn, where heat rash and sweat rash appears anytime on any part of your body as often as you see chiobus with mini skirts passing by in Orchard Road.

And this entry would just be a tempory stop, this small little break for me after 2 weeks of compulsory confinement is just like a honeymoon to me. I really enjoyed myself, the feeling of being free again. Haha, well, see ya civilians around man... I AM BOTAK!!!!

Back from the Army! Finally!

Okay, i'm back. I can't believe i actually forgot to add a new entry before i enlisted on 9th June. Ahh, well, nevermind. And this is actually my first book out after being in Pulau Tekong for the whole of 2 weeks, away from civilization.

Being in the army, was a different feeling, there were strict rules to follow, and lots of vulgarities were used everywhere. I was clueless about the army before i enlisted, so after being in there for the whole of 2 weeks, i learnt many things, including ranks and such.

It was physically demanding too, but i didn't mind it, afterall, my priority in National Service, is to build and train up my body in 13 weeks. I could already see results just after 2 weeks. And in fact, i gained a total of 4 to 5 kg in these 2 weeks!

I especially loved the food there, rumours spreading that the food in Pulau Tekong sucks were quickly erased from my mind. There is western food, chinese food, prawns, chicken fillets, anything you can think of! Just spare the delicacies like bird's nest, abalones and sharks fin from me!

Oh yeah, i'm also botak now, dun wanna post up my picture, haha, and i love the tan on my body now, haha, more manly, i supposed.

Well, i'll be back to update, i'm just too tired...
